East Village

We Love

East Village

East Village is a neighborhood that captures the old and the new of Little Rock. Where industrial meets retail meets residential. It is a place to gather while honoring the history of our city.

Starting Fidel & Co in East Village has shown us the camaraderie and love that people have for East Village. We want nothing more than to continue to add to that and have a space where people may celebrate all of life’s events.

About the

Sterling Paint Factory

In 1914, A.H. Stebbins and Gardener Goldsmith started a modest sign painting business in the basement of a small commercial building in downtown Little Rock. Over the next 30 years, their business took off requiring them to build a larger space. In 1947, the paint factory was built and in 1995, the company changed their name to Sterling Paint.

Throughout their years, Sterling Paint received several high-profile supply contracts, such as the formulation of a clear varnish that was applied to the gold leaf dome of the Arkansas State Capitol.

Cromwell Architects Engineers purchased the building in the fall of 2015 and worked with developer Moses Tucker to turn the 50,000 SF former factory and office space into a mixed use development while retaining the historic elements of the building.
